I’m Stephen McPhilemy, a local guide, storyteller, and proud resident of Dingle. Though originally from Donegal, I moved here with a vision: to bring Dingle’s heart and history alive through walking tours that celebrate its people, places, and stories. My love for this place grows every day. I began guiding tours in 1995, shortly after the ceasefire, in a new era for Irish tourism. Over the years I have worked across Ireland and developed a deep connection to the southwest, eventually settling in Dingle and founding Historic Dingle Tours in 2014. learned about local history, culture, folklore, language, and character.
